Indianapolis, IN – Renowned engineer Don Conner and longtime business executive Kevin Houk are excited to announce their partnership to create Benchmark Autosport, set to launch in 2025.
Benchmark Autosport aims to nurture and develop the next generation of racing talent, providing a clear pathway for young drivers to advance through the ranks of motorsport. The program will leverage the opportunities within the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire Series.
Don Conner, a six-time USF2000 championship-winning engineer, brings a wealth of experience in data management, engineering and coaching. His expertise has been instrumental in the success of many drivers including Kyle Kirkwood, a Team USA Scholarship driver, who won the 2017 F4 US Championship. Conner is looking to extend his significant impact in the racing world with Benchmark Autosport.
Kevin Houk, a seasoned business executive with a passion for motorsports, will provide the strategic vision and resources necessary to ensure the program's success. Houk's extensive network and business acumen will be invaluable in securing sponsorships and partnerships to support the program.
For the 2025 season they will utilize the USF2000 Championship Series to offer comprehensive training, mentorship and competitive opportunities for a young driver, helping them progress to the pinnacle of professional motorsports. The program will focus on developing not only driving skills but also the mental and physical attributes required to excel in high-pressure racing environments.
