Oconomowoc, Wisconsin - Pabst Racing has announced the signing of 16-year-old North Carolina native Caleb Gafrarar for the 2025 USF2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire. Caleb comes to Pabst Racing with a background that includes karting, Skip Barber, US Legends Cars, ChampCar Endurance Series and most recently, the FF1600 United Formula Ford series in England.
Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Gafrarar’s career began at the age of five in karts. In twelve years of racing, he has amassed 14 karting championships and 94 wins. In only four Formula Ford events, he earned a win, two top fives and two top 10's.
Gafrarar will pilot the Pabst Racing Tatuus USF-22 #24 machine for 2025 with sponsorship from Circle K, Bell Helmets, Racing Electronics, Molecule, OffSet, From the Ashes and DB Motorsports.
When asked about his goals for 2025, Caleb expressed a hope to accomplish great things in his rookie season.
“I hope to learn from the team, be consistent, finish every lap of every race and win the USF2000 Championship,” said Gafrarar. “Everyone on the team is serious but we also have fun.
“I went to the race shop for a seat fit and I had a great time hanging out with the team. I can’t wait to see what the 2025 season brings with the boys.”
Augie Pabst who became a two-time USF2000 driver championship winning team owner in 2024, expressed his positive outlook regarding the signing of Caleb Gafrarar for 2025.
“An amazing karting talent, Caleb has been on our radar for a few years,” said Pabst. “We’re thrilled to have him on board and looking forward to seeing him on top of the podium.”
Right after the new year, the team will continue its off-season testing program prior to an official series ‘Spring Training’ at NOLA Motorsports Park and the first race of the season in St. Petersburg.
