ARLINGTON, Texas — Argentinian driver Leandro Juncos will join TJ Speed Motorsports for the upcoming round of the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire championship, competing at the inaugural Grand Prix of Arlington. The event will mark Juncos’ debut with the team as he takes on one of the newest and most anticipated venues on the calendar.
Juncos is coming off a very solid season in the GB4 Championship, where the 20-year-old driver finished fifth in the championship racking up one win and six podium finishes in the UK’s entry level single seater championship. After winning last time out on track at Donington Park, Juncos aims to continue that success coming back to America.
Juncos, who started his racing career two years ago in the American open-wheel ladder system in USF Juniors, will step into the TJ Speed entry for the Arlington street circuit event, bringing valuable experience and determination as he looks to deliver a strong result for the team.
“This is a great opportunity for me and I’m very thankful to TJ Speed for the chance to race with them,” said Juncos.
“The USF Pro 2000 Championship is an extremely competitive series, and with Arlington being a brand-new track for everyone, I believe it will be a very exciting weekend. It has been a huge effort by all of us to be able to go racing and I am certain all our hard work will pay off with a good result to begin the season.”
TJ Speed Motorsports is coming off to a very successful season in the USF Pro 2000 Championship, where they finished second in the driver’s championship with driver Ariel Elkin and third in the team’s standings. Going into the 2026 season, the team has no plans on slowing down as it has become established as a top force in the series.
TJ Speed Motorsports continues to expand its presence within the USF Pro Championships ladder and views the Arlington event as an exciting opportunity to showcase both driver and team performance.
“We’re very excited to have Leandro join the team for Arlington this weekend,” said team principal Tim Neff. “He tested last year with us and impressed, so we’re looking forward to working together and putting together a competitive weekend.”
The Java House Grand Prix of Arlington marks a historic addition to the 2026 calendar as a brand-new street circuit event held alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. The 2.73-mile, 14-turn track runs through Arlington’s top sports venues near AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field, making this event one of the most unique in the USF Pro Championship schedule.
